Let me just say, through out all the games this weekend - ALL the girls on the team played HARD & with ALL you had! You all left it on the field! I think I can honestly say for all us parents, we are SO proud of all of you girls for all your hard work & dedication this weekend! If you didn't score a goal, no need to feel bad because some of the goals had AWESOME passes to ASSIST the girl who kicked it in the goal! YOU made it possible for the goal to even happen!
Allie - great job taking it down the line & foot work to get around those defenders!, Jae - you've come a long way! You're not shy no more! Great switches & defensive anticipation!, Kaylee - awesome ball handling & help keeping our team on offensive end!, Nicole - great MVP performance in Championship game (& ALL weekend)!, Clarissa - great opposite post goal, even though your mom missed it! =), Graciella - awesome HUSTLE & aggressive play all weekend!, Payton - another great aggressive & defensive weekend!, Abby - as always, tough defense & letting nothing get by!, Megan - awesome saves in traffic & drop kicks!, Riley - great job chasing down & stopping offensive threats in semi finals & championship games! Ashley 'Mac' -great tackles & passes!!
To the defensive players: you girls played a KEY role in all of these wins! Had you NOT been in your position or doing what you do best?! These other teams would of scored EVERY time! I'm pretty sure you heard all of us on the sidelines screaming for you, when you stole the ball back or got it 'out of there' this way the other team COULDN'T score! Way to go girls!
Let's hear it for our GOALIE - Meagan! - She did an awesome job & did it ALL weekend! She's tough! She even had a 'big power bomb', that was an assist to Graciella's goal! She's dedicated on every play defending her goal!
ASHLEY 'MAC' - Thanks so much for helping our team out this weekend! And to your parents: Thank you for making the drive down to Tucson!!
RILEY - Thanks so much for making the trip to play w/your team on Sunday! The girls missed you on Friday & Saturday! Great job on Sunday! You could never tell you were sick all week! Thanks Jim & Grace for making the trip just for one game! (They didn't even know we'd play that second game or not!)
Last but not least, Coach Drew - Awesome weekend for his 98 girls & 99 white boys teams! BOTH won FIRST PLACE! Whoo-hoo! Never dropped the ball on either team. Our coach is young yet responsible, dedicated & full of praise when it comes to our girls! Nice guy all around! We appreciate all your hard work with our girls & it showed this weekend! Thanks Drew!
Also, we cannot forget Nikki - without her, we'd all be sleeping under the stars! Thanks so much for organizing this entire weekend & the folder full of details! I, for one, would of been lost with out it!

Thanks for posting the great pictures and commentary! This was really helpful for those of us that packed their digital camera but no memory card to go with it!
